Dear vegetarians...

Oh, how this phrase/joke/meme gets on my nerves. I see it everywhere on the internet and the main reason I don't like it is because how unintelligent it is. It hearkens to me like being called "stupid" by a bully who's failing in all his or her own academic endeavors.

I know! I don't get why they have to give others grief. The worst and most awkward was when my own grandpa and I were talking to a cow farmer (odd circumstance, but yeah) and pointed to me, "And she's a vegetarian! She wants to save the animals." Grandpa-drama-making-traitor-pants!!!

I am not a vegetarian, but I don't mind those that are. As long as, as you say, they don't push it on to me. I do eat meat from Sweden only, meaning less transport and also I know the animal have been raised according to swedish laws that are pretty tough on how you can raise an animal, not to mention laws on humane ways to butcher it to. So at least there's that. :-)

That's great that Sweden is so strict about animal welfare relating to food. I'm so appalled at the conditions here in the U.S. That's what I have a problem with-- not with meat-eaters themselves. :)

That is good to hear. :-) I know some vegetarians are against meat-eaters and that just rubs me the wrong way. You can be aware and do your best as a meat-eater to! Don't mean we hate animals!
