Ohh my gosh, girl, I HATE driving in the snow! Just around town isn't quite so bad, but get on the highway or out in the country and UH UH. Don't wanna. I'm so glad you weren't hurt or anything when you went in the ditch! You were very lucky. ♥
Yeah, you said that was a reason you wanted to move because of the drive. It was totally ick and dangerous!
I am lucky! \o/ of all the places to go off the road, I went off close to home and where there was nothing to hit. <3
AND YOU! You care for yourself! I saw your post and all I read was "after eating" and "sick again" and respiratory symptoms. Rule out aspiration pneumonia, ok? Brush your teeth and swallow safely and rule out aspiration pneumonia for me. I have my class on swallowing and respiration tomorrow (if school isn't cancelled) so I will be thinking of you when we learn about swallowing and breathing. I WILL NOW BE HYPER-ANALYZING ALL YOUR REPORTED SYMPTOMS. If that's alright with you. Ok? Take care of yourself, sweetie! <3
Oh no, I think the cough flamed back up after being out and quick walking three blocks and back in icky weather. I think I just did too much, too soon. I don't recall inhaling anything, but if I'm still hearing/feeling this rubbing in my lungs, I'm going to doctor tomorrow after work. And I will definitely let you know. Thank you for asking after me! <33
So they're rubbing? My oh my. *takes notes* It may be your visceral/pleural lining and space that stick your lungs to the insides of your ribs? But that would hurt more. So maybe a upper respiratory thing? <3<3 You GO to that doctor, girl. Get it! A diagnosis, I mean. And a treatment plan. Get it, girl!
OMG girl are you okay? I can't believe you were able to drive right out of the field and not get stuck! Thank God you weren't hurt, darling! That sounds like a total nightmare. I'm so, so thankful you're home. *HUGS* I hope you can get some rest tonight, and I'll be praying your classes are canceled tomorrow. *cuddles*
I'm ok! I'm home in one piece, my car is ok and I drove in a cornfield omg! 8D Waiting for my adrenaline to go down... I have snuggly doggies to help with that. It was wheeeeeee but really, the highway was worse! It was just packed down snow and slush and awfulness. At least there weren't obstacles to hit in a plowed cornfield. I'm so moving to California the first chance I get.
I'm so glad I'm home too! I almost didn't tell my mom but she could tell something happened from my rapid speech and hyperactivity. I hope classes are canceled! Man, I probably won't be able to get out of the driveway anyway! :( *cuddles*
New twitter is stuck for me, sticky stuck. I probably need to browse it in something other than Safari. Maybe I'll cave and download Chrome or Firefox or something. I LOVE YOU!!!!
*SQUEEZE* I'm not letting go of you until you convince me you are safe and okay.
It's amazing that your car is all right and you were able to drive right back out. Especially in a Ford Focus! Go you! Driving in the snow, slush and ice is terrifying, and nothing is worse than tractor-trailers blowing past you like it's nothing.
I'm so thankful your car didn't get stuck in the field! It sounds like you would have had a cold walk home!
Hope you can curl up with the doggies and some tea and let your adrenaline ebb away. Stay warm and safe, darling! <3<3<3 *SQUEEZE*
Squeeze me, Zepheh~ I am ok, yay! I can't believe it, yeah! My wittle Ford Focus! (she's blue, dabba dee dabba die)
I would have been very cold and wet. It was the power of physics and momentum that kept the car moving, I guess. That made it so I didn't get stuck.
EBB. EBB DAMMIT. I NEED SLEEP TONIGHT. DAMN YOU, SYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM.
DUDE. There's this thing called parasympathetic nervous system disorder where you get brain injury to your brainstem and your body forgets how to do all the automatic things to take care of itself! We're talking heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, temperature, circulation, cerebrospinal fluid circulation, metabolism, digestion, blinking, OMG. O M G. Never get head injury, ok? TAKE THIS HELMET, WEAR IT FOREVER. And if you don't mind, could you step inside this giant bubble wrap suit? I used the sizes from your velcro suit to make this bubble wrap suit.
*nod nod* Makes sense. Sure, we've been reinforced to talk in certain situations, but not in every single situation. And also, we're not reinforced for every single thing we say. And what if there is no reinforcement? That's why we have to incorporate Piaget and Banderas' cognitive theories, and Vygotsky's sociocultural theory. Language is super complicated, and one theory can't explain it all!
I've done that to driving on a road with fields on each side of the road, heavy snow and windy to... So you could hardly see the road at all. And if you didn't have some speed, you'd get stuck. :-P I made it though, thanx to good winter-tires! I was young then, nowadays I love driving in winter-weather. :-)

"The sparkly unicorns ate play-doh."
I loved to read that section, about reinforcement and the language.
