Yes, it's very annoying. It's such a long routine! Even longer in a public bathroom. UGH.

It's a great book! It's the same idea as the Hunger Games (put people on an island, make them fight/kill each other). I read the first HG but BR was so much meatier! BR was deep and amazing, terrifying, touching, and totally blew HG out of the water in terms of plot, character development, and gore. There's so much gore. I remember screaming in disbelief during the last few chapters. I couldn't believe the plot twist! So good.

Thank you! I'm so glad to have gotten in, if you couldn't tell. It became an obsession that I'm not yet quite over.

From what Jama said, it did seem very much like Hunger Games, but I think he said essentially the same things you have here. Every day he was reading it, he would just babble about it all the way home, he enjoyed it so much. I probably won't read it because I just can't do gore, but it seems like one of those lesser known books that really shouldn't be overlooked.
