You kilt-up quite nicely!

I have a friend who (with some sewing tutorials from his sister) sewed his own kilt and had one of my friends custom make him a sporran. He also put together a very impressive utilikilt out of khaki material. :)

When I go to a RenFair, I usually (not always) wear the kilt there, but there's just not much call for one outside of that specialized environment. :)

What would be the ideal sporran for you?

More "plain" than fancy. No dangly bits on it, but maybe something fixed or etched into the center of it. White or brown (no black leather or black fur).

I think that website had all the parts that I want, but I still couldn't assemble them in quite the right way. If I cut-and-paste (it's not pretty) from two samples they had, I get something that looks like this.
