I skimmed past a submission to reddit.com that mentioned a "para-sailing donkey!" At the time, all I thought was, "Yeah, I'm sure the donkey thought that was a good idea." It would seem my instincts were correct.

I can imagine helping a donkey to parasail if it already displayed some interest in heights (just an extension to "play"), but trying it as a publicity stunt is just... bizarre. Like pets that join people for surfing, it seems fun if it's something that the animal is already curious to explore. It's just torture, though, if it had no previous interest in the activity.

*laugh* Yeah, it's hard to imagine what line of thought eventually lead to that plan being considered a good one.
