I always worry about presents. I'm absolutely crap at picking things out for other people and then I worry that what I did choose isn't good enough, or doesn't show enough effort, etc.

frankly I guess I'm not a big fan of the holidays and all the shopping frenzy surrounding them.

I hear you completely. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm really starting to dislike christmas. The spirit of love and togetherness is gone for me. It's all about gimme, gimme, gimme. I think this may be the last christmas I celebrate. My niece called me today to ask what I'm getting her this year. I answered "What you got me last christmas is what you are getting this year" and she replied "But I didn't get you anything last christmas", and I said "Exactly". I only spoke to my niece 4x this year and that's because I called her.
