Job now. And oshit was it a fight to get one.  I’m working at this wonderful pizzeria called Dom D’Carlo’s. And when I say wonderful, I mean dutch oven of a hell on earth.

Cut for long-awaited half of an update because I have too much to talk about all at once. )

What's wrong with you!? I WANT TO KNOW. D=

I think a new computer, because you can use it for school and such, is a good idea. And the library stuff. Knock those two out, girl!

Haha, yup, that's a typical Italian alright (Did I tell you I'm Italian?). Congrats on getting a job -- around here, it's near impossible.

I hope everything works out. And girl, don't worry about college. Between the Cal Grant and Pell grant, I'm not paying JACK SHIT for college. For real. As long as you fill out your forms on time and such, talk to your counselor, everything is fine. <3 Adults make it seem like a big deal, but it really isn't.

I love working for some reason. My boss and his daughter call me a workaholic, because I was hanging out there for free food on my day off, and started bussing tables because it BUGGED me that nobody was doing it! For being so lazy about school, I'm surprised that I like hard-core work so much. I DO love to learn; that's why I don't understand why it's so different with school.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think I've got it just about figured out for college, and yeah, I'll get the computer first. If I work four days a night for two weeks and save up my tips I should be able to get a decent laptop, right?

I kind of get the difference. At school, you are learning abilities you will never apply anywhere else. At work, you can put your work experience on a resume. That, and you're getting PAID to learn, which is always great. =D

I'm getting one as a graduation present. :] My limit is $300-$500 -- I'm excited. I'm looking around for a job, but it's impossible.

Woah, sounds intense but that pay seems awesome. I honestly don't know how you deal with your mom, she sounds like a very self-centered individual.

Have you looked into scholarships for college? Especially if your family is low income, there's grant money you might be able to get and the like. I got enough grant money that I don't pay for anything at my college except books. Of course, I also live with my dad, so no rent.

There's something wrong with you?

I did look into the financial thing, and found out that because I live in my parents house and they make plenty of money to at least give me a generous start for college, I don't apply(the appropriate synonym for this word is at the tip of my tongue) for any sort of financial aid.
