I just don't know how to convince her I'm well enough. I'll cough for some time yet. It's that way with me. I haven't been feverish for a few days, and one doesn't gain weight overnight.

I consider a gun the great equalizer in making people see my side of things. It generally works well. That fails, we can smuggle you out in the laundry. She seems to enjoy keeping people longer than they want to be kept.
