I suppose I should explain this. The italics part is Puck's inner voice or whatever... it's quite odd and I have no idea why I wrote this...
It was all going to be okay.
How can it be okay when you’re the reason Kurt’s in that bed?
It wasn’t my fault. I tried to save him.
By swerving into a tree?
I had to get away from the other car.
So it was the other person’s fault?
He was going to wrong way and was heading right at us.
At you. He only would have hit your side.
No. He would have hurt Kurt. I had to protect Kurt. I had to get away from the other car. I didn’t mean to hit the tree. I didn’t mean to hurt Kurt.
You know that’s not true. He knows that’s not true.
I didn’t mean to hurt him. It was a mistake.
Then you shouldn’t of moved. You should of let the other car hit you.
I should have been the one hurt.
You should be the one in that hospital bed.
It’s my fault.
He’s in that bed because of you.
It’s my entire fault.
It should have been you
It should have been me.
You need to fix it. You need to switch places with him. You need to be the one in that bed.
“Noah?”
He sounds weak and You made him sound that way.
I hurt him.
“Noah, where are we?”
He doesn’t remember how you hurt him.
“I’m sorry.”
“Noah, you’re scaring me. What happened?”
Tell him how you hurt him to save yourself. Tell him how selfish you are.
“It should have been me.”
“Noah, where are you going?”
