Fireworks

Summary: Puck loves fireworks
You love fireworks. Something about them being loud and disruptive just made you smile. You love the fourth of July, not just because it was an excuse to get drunk, but also because you could sit on a hill and watch firework, after firework explode in the air. There was something romantic about them too. The fact that you could just wrap your arm around someone, holding them as they jump with every explosion. You never took them up to the hill though. That was a special place that you vowed to only share with someone who meant something to you. Which is why this year, you asked Kurt if he wanted to spend the fourth of July with you. He said sure, but looked very skeptical about it. You told him that you would pick him up at his house about an hour before all the fireworks started. He just nodded and left, trying to hide his smile.
You pick him up early, you didn’t mean to, it just happened that way. He’s ready though, sitting on his doorstep, waiting for you. He claimed that he was looking at the clouds, you agree just to make him happy. You talk the whole car ride to the hill. You ask him about his life and he asks you about yours. The car ride goes by quicker than you had hoped, but you smile as you get out of your truck, running around to open the door for him. You extend your hand to help him get out. He takes it, a huge smile on his face. Neither one of you lets go of the other’s hand. You lead him to the top of the hill, laying down a blanket for the two of you to sit on. You end up lying on your back with him resting his head on your chest, your arm wrapped around his shoulders. You talk until the fireworks start, and then the two of you just lie there, staring at them explode in the sky.
Once the fireworks are down, he rests his chin on your chest, smiling at you. You move your head so that your lips meet his. You steal his first kiss that night, and the title of his first boyfriend.
