GAHHh.. I'm so freakin upset right now. I went to practice w/Dennon earlier.. and we came back and he decided to wash some clothes.. so he picked up my pants off the floor and asked if I wanted him to wash them.. I said yes. well, if you take it apart (make sure the battery is OUT) and let it air dry, maybe help it along with a blowdryer.. that might help. I've had a completely waterlogged phone come back to life after that -- TWICE! Let it dry REAL GOOD before you try to power it up again, or else it'll short out and die forever.
If that doesn't work.. well then I'm sure you can find someone with an old crappy phone, you can take out your SIM card (its usually waterproof) and put it in a new phone.. you lost all your numbers, but viola! you got a new phone for now..
you could also do the sneaky route of buying insurance, waiting a month for it to kick in, then making the claim :) but that's not very ethical and will take a while...
who is your provider? Cingular has a deal now where if you sign up for a new 2-year contract you can get a badass phone for free. Also most phones you can buy on Ebay for a LOT LESS than you'd pay buying it new at the store. Just swap your sim card and you're good.

I definately didn't think about using another phone.. I actually have two old ones in the apartment right now.. haha.
Anyway, I decided earlier that I was just going to take it back to cingular asap, and just for the heck of it I tried to turn it on again, and it came on! Ha.. I was a little excited to say the least.. lol. So yea, I'm gonna find a cingular store in SC and take the new one back.
Btw, I knew about the 2-year contract.. that's how I got the phone in the first place. It's a Pantech C3.. tiny little thing.
Now that you know the story of my phone, I'm off to finish packing! =)
