there is still hope

Tonight I turned on the TV, and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was on.

I may or may not have mentioned this before, but I’m a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. And The Two Towers is my favorite film out of the trilogy.

Shall I describe it to you, or would you like me to find you a box? )

Awww I love this little spam! I'm a big LOTR nerd too, and TTT is absolutely my favorite of the trilogy. Mostly because I love Eowyn and Eomer. And I was totally huge on Eowyn/Aragorn, even though I knew Arwen was supposed to be his love. I DIDN'T CARE, I WAS A REBEL.

Aww yay! Eomer was all kinds of awesome, and of course Eowyn was so kickass. Well Eowyn/Aragorn was really interesting and they're kind of in similar levels of badassery, heh. I guess I never really shipped any of the couples, I was on board with Aragorn/Arwen and I thought they pulled it off in the trilogy. Or it was Viggo and Liv making it sexy, IDK. I still haven't watched RotK's Extended Edition DVD (I know, shame on me), so I don't know how they dealt with Eowyn/Faramir.

Aw, cute picspam!:)

I never got into LOTR but I have seen the movies (only in theatres) and read the first book. One of these days I'm definitely going back to read the entire trilogy again.

Thanks! Oh, you should read the trilogy, and then rent the DVDs to do a marathon. It's so much fun to watch them one immediately after the other!

Wow. That poster is still hanging in my room. And it has been for years. Haha.

I just spent all weekend playing the Return of the King video game. For the 500th time. Haha.

And I just realized I have no LotR icons. That needs to be rectified.

LOL, isn't this poster epic? It feels great just to look at it.

Ooohh, I have never played a LOTR video game! Which one would you recommend?

LOTR ICONS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! RUN!

Return of the King, definitely. I've never played FotR, and I don't think I ever really finished TTT, but RotK is amazing. :D

Omg you are making me nostalgic now too haha. I was so incredibly obsessed with LOTR when they came out. I swear I would just refresh the official site over and over again to hear the actor's introductions and I remember recording (on vcr, back before dvr lol) a special that MTV did on The Two Towers and I must've watched it like 30 times. Such good stuff!!

I recorded LotR stuff too! I think it was an HBO special on RotK that was re-broadcast in Greece. And DITTO on the mad refreshing of the official site, my favorites intros were Viggo and Ian McKellen.

I ADORE. Lotr. I miss it SO much. I went to NZ this year and just. Guh. I can't wait for The Hobbit.

The picture of Legolas and Aragorn, where Legolas has his hand on Aragons shoulder, always gives me a serious case of the LOLZ. DOES IT NOT LOOK LIKE LEGOLAS IS STROKING HIS "BOW"?!?!

OMG you went to NZ? I'm so jealous! Was it gorgeous and amazing like it looks? Did you visit any of the locations?

LMAO YOU'RE RIGHT! I just noticed it, ahahaha!

Yes!! I went in May for 3 weeks! It was absolutely amazing and I was only on the North Island (which is apparently the not so pretty island) and I want to go back and live there! AND I WENT ON TWO TOURS. I went to Hobbiton where they still have the Hobbit holes and I went on another location tour where we saw like Helms Deep, Rivendell, and other awesome stuff including driving past Peter Jackson's house!!!

ANNNDDD we drove past Mount Doom ha ha. It's an actual mountain and it's awesome :P

OMG. This is amazing. I think I need to book a trip to NZ ASAP! And/or stalk Peter Jackson to learn the secrets of his genius.
