Some Death Eater or amazingly un-funny person decided it would be a good time to send up a Dark Mark early this morning. Fabulous. I'm dead tired; been up patrolling all morning.

On the bright side, I ran into Viola and got to really talk to her (after McGonagall gave me a stern look and an eyebrow raise for lord knows what).

Lily, I don't know what to say, other than thank you for letting me read this. You're such a strong girl, I think Hogwarts would have been much more frightening this week had you not been there.

I don't know what I'm planning to do after graduation either, but I'm sure I'll be dreadfully sick for everyone at Hogwarts. If you get tired of your sister, you would be more than welcome in my parent's home.

Also, you should know, two of my little first years have developed tremendous crushes on you...!

You really have no idea how much your words mean to me. The end of the year, I must say, is starting to get to me. I'm beginning to get very nostalgic and getting the urge to say 'keep in touch' a lot - a sentiment which very much applies to you.

I think I may make short visits to a few key people. Dorcas has offered her home to me for a while as well, and Remus has invited me to (unbeknownst to the other) stay with him and Sirius. Long-term I will likely stay with them, but I'd love to, like I said, visit around a bit before settling in.

Your students are so well-behaved! Truly, you have no idea. Give them hugs for me, they are exceedingly adorable and should be reminded of such every now and then.

My dear Head Girl, I am so sorry that juvenile and thoroughly un-amusing symbols by certain stupid Slytherins are making you reopen the wounds cause by your parents' deaths. Rest assured the aurors will discover the truth and the culprits (in both matters) will be brought to justice.

As for the home, I will more than happily give up my guest bedroom in Sirius's flat for you, and I shall sleep on the floor or on a couch somewhere. I am sure we can find a place for you to stay so you do not have to return somewhere where you will clearly feel so unwanted. [technically I haven't run this particular offer by Sirius...we'll call it a surprise shall we?]

Stay strong just a little while longer. The whirlwind is almost finished and then we shall be beyond Hogwarts, and hopefully able to accomplish something useful in the time to come.

I figure I'll visit Dori and anyone else who would like to spend a bit of time with me, then head off for this Plan you have. If you guys will have me, I'd really appreciate it. You may want to run it by Sirius, but I still insist on calling it a Plan and using knowing looks.

I'm actually amazingly excited to leave Hogwarts. I fully intend to take this year off to Figure Things Out and generally enjoy life, then I'll do some serious career hunting... ideally within a certain branch of the ministry.

Needless to say, I would love summer with you lot.

I would LOVE to spend time with you, Dori! We should make solid plans... shall we say three weeks into summer vacation? Is that enough time to get us both settled?
