Yay! Depending one where you want to go...most of us l5r people are getting rooms in the Hilton. (Note, not the Hilton garden, the regular one. Yes there are two.) It's walkable, and the room size is good. Also, you won't be the only ones with a kidling there, since at least one other couple is bringing their baby. (I dunno if you know Howard and Jen or not.)

I'm thinking about either the Embassy Suites, or the Marriot downtown.

Have you booked a room this way before? Will they actually charge my credit card tomorrow or not til I get there? I don't have the full amount available on my ONE credit card right now. My guess is that we'll be staying with a WoW guildie who was going to reserve the room but his wallet got stolen yesterday so no credit cards right now :(

They do not charge the full amount when you book. That's for when you check in. Embassy is very nice, and also around the corner from the Hilton. Marriot is closer, though it also fills up faster. Either way, plan to be online and booking the INSTANT the housing option opens up tomorrow. The close ones are gone within an hour. No joke.

yeah that's what we've heard. I actually took off work tomorrow so I can sit in front of the computer and book :D I think that makes me a new level of geek ;p
