There's an Umineko anime? Must go download legally buy right now! But maybe should at least finish the first half of the visual novel first.

There is an Umineko anime but it is widely considered to be kind of crap. Worth watching for the voice acting, but don't expect it to be very respectful tonally to the source material otherwise.

Aah... a familiar complaint. One wonders why it is so hard to adapt visual novels properly. It isn't as if they're a serialized medium like manga.
