I FINISHED SIMOUN YESTERDAY.

I really liked the conclusion and it was overall excellent series! I am so glad I decided to watch it.

I-I think Yun has made onto my list of favourite ladies in fiction? Her final decision to take Onashia's place was just ... words really can't do justice to the depth and beauty of the choice she made. Yun is amazing!

I FINISHED IT LATE LAST NIGHT.

I know some people were disappointed with the ending because they wanted a more direct resolution to the themes of gender presented in the show, but I was happy with the it concluded. There was no uprising against the gendered structure of their society. The entire show was rather subtle and character-driven. I felt that it very worked on a storytelling level.

But RODO AND MAMIINA! I LOVED THEIR ENDING. Mamiina's influence on Rodo is very clear and she's grown to quite a confident, wise and accomplished young woman. She has Mamiina's hairstyle! And the picture of them together!

I will have to read your Simoun fic soon! I was tempted to read your Rodo/Mamiina fic for a long time, but I wanted to finish the series first.

And I was very, very pleased with Dominura and Limone's ending. They truly found happiness with the other. :) At first, my mind was screaming, "WHERE'S DOMINURA?" But I was very relieved when she showed up.
