I knew you had a knack for writing prose, but this is the first time I've read one of your poems. Although I haven't studied English Literature for a few years, and although I've forgotten a lot of the technical terms, I can say that I really liked the flow of the poem. I particularly enjoyed the section dealing with the visit to Mexico.
It really flows quite nicely, and I love the details you chose to capture her. I also really like the use of parentheticals. Also, what an awesome lady.
