Fashion. Ahem.

I HEARTILY ENDORSE THIS EVENT OR PRODUCT.

Part of me wants to induce my best friend to dress like this but I've been trying to get her to wear pretty dresses for two years and she's still the same soft butch that she's always been.

ETA: DEAR GOD THERE IS MORE, MUCH MORE.

joy, vintage clothing, awesomesauce

Hmmm. Some bits of it are nice? I like the ideas but not so much the execution.

Yeah, some of the actual garments fall flat, but I like the overall aesthetic. Which are the ones that you like?

1 is all right. 6 is nice, but with a different top. 7 is all right but not with that belt. 8 is cute. 14 is maybe okay but a bit shapeless. The outfit in the photos at the bottom is quite nice.

Agreed about 6. A skirt that cute deserves a better top. I don't really have a problem with the belt in 7, and I also don't really like 14. And the mosquito-garden dress is undeniably gorgeous.

I would probably wear about 90% of that. I love the first one, but ruefully know I'm too busty to look as good in the ruffle. And I need the mosquito garden look in my life about NOW.

Her prices are VERY reasonable, for good-condition vintage wearables. My sister's second job is at Banana Republic and she's amassing this amazing wardrobe with her employee discount and making me jealous. I must buy more dresses, and soon.

There seems to be a consensus on this.
