well, im not going to lie to you, the show was not all it could have been, but technical problems are not entirely the fault of the oganizer. I was pretty impressed with the size of that club, it could be a hell of a lot nicer inside. And you, my dear, coasting from tabe to table in a sort of tragically inspired performance dance number, a word with an artist here, a word with the owner of the club there, you were a beacon of class and poise at what was, essentially, a star trek convention

are you at all familiar with norman mailer? he wrote tropic of cancer, tropic of capricorn, and black sunday. The does a piece in Black sunday where he is describing painting a picture while he is painting it, it's very good. At the end of it, or rather, towad the end, he states:
"Now i know that i am never alone; at the very least i am with god."

i think that Henry Miller actually wrote the tropic of Cancer and the tropic of capricorn. he was lovers with anais nin for their entire lifetime...she helped him write much of the tropic of capricorn.
