Forerunner is the most interesting figure to come out of Countdown, so far. If engaging in any kind of warfare is in your future, you need to have this woman on your side.

The kitten appears to be doing fine.  (A visit to the vet is scheduled for Monday.)

My wife just rescued a kitty that we heard crying and wimpering; she finally found it wedged between the back fence and the gutter behind our building.

I recently read Trina Robbins' The Great Women Cartoonists, (Watson-Guptil, 2001), and was particularly taken with the illustrations by Gladys Parker (d. 1966; she drew Mopsy) and June "Tarpe" Mills (d. 1988; creator of Miss Fury).
