For the past 3 months, my dad has been struggling with this terrible cough. His quack, bastard ass, bible thumping family doctor told him it was pnuemonia and filled him up with antibiotics (and I'm sure told him to pray to get better..that fuck). Then said it was a relapse of the pneumonia and gave him more. Then said it was broncitis. More

I was with my grandmother when she was diagnosed and took care of her. I am glad I was able to be a part of it. There were times when I cried and I know you feel like you need to "be strong" for him but even if you cant be just being there so he is not alone is good.
