I've been waiting for this combo since the day it was first conceived in anonymity, all those many moons ago, and it was well worth the wait.
Your art is always so stunning and haunting, and this is no exception. The blood running down Dean's arm, the blood on the mermaid's lips, and her hair pooling around her in the water are such amazing touches. And so what if Sam doesn't have a top to his head? You can see enough of him to see how gently he's holding Dean, and that's the important thing.
This is fantastic, and the fic is already on my weekend reading list.
It's funny, I had actually forgotten how long ago this started. but yes! It is done! There is, sadly, no floating half-eaten ribcage, but that's just the way it goes.
Oh my. Love the water, especially around the tree. The hair, looking like tentacles. Sam's half-cut face, and how Dean's hand as if mirrors the lack of half of Sam's face {XP} by 'invading' into the lower half of the picture.

Poor S:am and D:ean bb. One's bleeding and the other doesn't have a top to his head.
