Back-to-back cons in a single weekend, part the second

The second con, of a sort, over the first weekend of August was BrickFair at the Dulles Expo Center where the beau and I oohed and aahed and coveted many lovely Lego structures. I'm kicking myself for not taking any photographs because the fantasy castles and Steampunk cities on display were so gorgeous and the memories of them are fading too

We went to that, too. Did you see the Lego model of the Vatican?

I don't recall. Was it with the architecture sets?

It was towards the front of the hall, on the left as you come in, but in a separate area from the skyscrapers. It was enormous. You'd have remembered it. It was really nifty. :)

I am now going to scour the internet for possible photos. Steampunk cloud city? I must see that.
