It's true that SUVs have been my vehicle of choice for the past 15 years. My first car was a Mercury Topaz, though. I'm very happy to downsize.

We don't camp that much besides Pennsic anymore, and for that we'll do what we did for the trip to Gulf Wars in Mississippi: rent a van. We'd need the van for only two weekends rather than a full week since Scott pretty much only goes up for set-up and take-down weekends and doesn't camp in between.

Plus, we still have the Prius and the cargo capacity in that thing is just slightly less than what I had in the Cherokee.
