I found out last week how much the stomach flu sucks. You know, I've always thought that food poisoning was a quick and dirty unpleasantness, but it turns out that stomach flu is the quick one. I spent one day hurling and another day and a half doing the other symptom of stomach flu while burning and freezing with fever. I also lost five pounds in ( Read more... )

Wow. Sorry you were so sick. I got that at my first ReenactorFest in 2007 I think? I went to be early on Friday night because I thought I was tired from the drive out to Chicago. Got up in the middle of the night and it started. I won't go into detail, but you think about some strange things when you're that sick. I didn't leave the hotel room all day Saturday. I was still so weak on Sunday that I had to hold onto a friend's arm to stop from falling over when I walked anywhere. Horrible.
