Finaly Starting to Feel Christmasy

Dec 11, 2007 08:16

Listened to the Christian station this morning and got to sing caroles, which hubby hasn't been putting on that station, so yay!  And I've pulled out my stand-by container of mint hot cocoa and can now drink it all day at work.  Diet-schmiet!  I look forward to this all year long. :)

Comment b/c you love me.  I'm feeling needy.

That is all.

caroles, mint chocolate, hot cocoa, christmas

Carol of the Bells. My favorite!

Especially with these lyrics:

Look to the sky way up on high
There in the nigh stars now are right
Eons have passed now then at last
Whence They were penned They will descend

They will retun mankind will learn
New kinds of fear once They are here
As They reclaim all in Their name
Watch only can powerless man

Ignorant fools mankind now rules
Where They ruled then it's Theirs again
Madness will reign terror and pain
Woes without ry scary scary scary Solstice
Very very very scary Solstice

Up from the sea from underground
Down from the sky They're all around
They will retun mankind will learn
New kinds of fear when They are here

They will return

(followed by a glorious arrangement of four part harmonies.)

from the HPLHS Solstice Carol Songbook (1989 ed.)

Hello!! Definitely interesting lyrics... I'm more for the old classics being Christian and all. But now I'll have to listen to the Carol of the Bells and try to fit these words to them. :) Thanks! Though I didn't realize Solstice was scary... huh. But then again, I don't know much about it.
