DoJ: Chapter 40: "I'm not doing this lying down."

Oy vey, thanks to the plunnyjam and so on it's been over eight months since the last chapter of DoJ fought its way out of our heads. Sorry! If it's any consolation, it does look like the DoJ plot bunny has re-sharpened its teeth and is ready to get back to work on a regular basis...

Ack! Way to end the chapter with an arrow right to the heart! *staggers around, stricken*

But the rest of it... *sparkles all over the landscape* Eeeehee!

Wufei will never find a hair tie, will he? Bad luck has to go somewhere!

Man, I just hope the coffee lasts until the apotheosis, or things are gonna get really ugly.

We, er, have this horrible tendency to do that... but I swear, that's where the chapter WANTS to end! (Plus it was the right length. Heh.)

Yay for sparkles! And yeah, Wufei is pretty well stuffed for hair ties now. :3

If they manage to bring a literal ton of coffee the way Quatre is planning, it ought to last a good long while :)

Poor Brandark. Also, interesting how you explain the way that Norfram's powers work. I so need to re-read DoJ.

*pats Brandark* Yeah, he's, um, not doing very well, despite his best efforts to pretend.

Norfram's powers are... interesting. I admit, we're totally winging it and it may be entirely different to what David Weber does with him, but it seemed that it would be very easy for him to become a literal Deus Ex Machina (Got a tricky problem? Get Norfram to make that million-to-one chance happen!) and we're trying not to do that. ...Much. Once or twice is fine. XD

eeee!

oh so many ouches. That ending is. just. ow. and i like how the eople in that town are REALLY suspicious of a sea ship that manages to get there through convenient floods. Welp. Unless the ship learns to fly it's gonna end up stuck. XD;;; i hope they piled up enough good luck to get themselves another one.

yay gboys getting organized AAA WHEN DO THEY LEAVE AAAAAAAAA ;__; *cannot wait homg*

Eeee!

*petpets* Poor Brandark. And his normal form of eloquence won't work here, because it's basically snark-dipped snark with a little snark sprinkled on top...

Well, wouldn't you be suspicious? XD Yup, the Wind Dancer is going to be kind of a fixture at Hurgrum for at least a little while!

AAAAAA they leave when the Doctors finish all the math. :P :)

1. Squee everywhere, you do not even know.
2. Coffee and tea. Add chocolate, throw in seeds, and they've just singlehandedly caused a massive sea change in the Norfressan economy.
3. Someone needs to call the police on Sideburns Guy. Why, he might be cruising the street looking to grab children!
4. I have this mental image of five Gundams carrying the Wind Dancer back to the sea, like a rowing crew who forgot to flip their canoe over after heaving it out of the water. Only with masts and sails and viking-hobbit crewmen piled high on top.
5. OF ALL THE PLACES TO END THE CHAPTER.

1. Hooray!

2. Mmmmmm... there are reasons for avoiding this, honest. XD

3. *cackle*

4. This is a possible solution, yes. :3 And I love your term for Marfang Islanders! XD

5. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAA~!
