Hmm well I'm one to try to read print versions before anime, and I'll have to do a little research before I commit to a chapter, but I do have one question.

What the devil is 'SAO' that people keep bitching about on Mangahere's comments for this manga? EVERY SINGLE COMMENT only had initials. I haven't been keeping up with recent animes or mangas, so I'm totally lost at sea.

Ah, that would be Sword Art Online. It's also a "people get trapped in something that used to be a game" anime, but with some major differences - judging from what I've read about it (haven't seen it myself, don't really wanna) it's way more game-focussed than hello-this-is-a-new-world, there's a specific technological reason they're trapped (it used to be a VR game with helmets and full immersion, the inventor rigged it to trap people and the helmets will kill their bodies if they die in the game or if someone tries to remove them) rather than a mysterious presumably-magical one, and the main character is an angsty loner with uber sword skills rather than Log Horizon's party- and friends-focussed Shiroe (who is utterly useless in combat without a party to back him up, but AWESOME as a strategist and combat assist

Ah. ok. I have heard of this, and knew Sword Art Online was about a game, thanks for clearing up my confusion since I had never seen it abbreviated- I've only seen pics on Tumblr.

No worries. The only reason I know the abbreviation myself is because the comments on the TVTropes forums were full of SAO references, and somebody explained. XD
