Uff da. Okay, I would just like to say that I was NOT crying at a scene I wrote myself; Christy's House of Bishounen Torment was really dusty that day. Yeah. Dust. Gets in the eyes. :P

Loved seeing events from Brandark's point of view. Kicked us poor readers right in the balls with the tale of how he died - and I liked seeing how different things might have been without Himself to smooth the way for Bahzell and Brandark.

Pargan is a pearl beyond price. Relena doesn't know how lucky she is. And she's gotten sneaky, too! Hope Une goes after the spies and hands them their balls. I'm sure that Relena will help. >:D

Thanks! And yup, sometimes it's the little things... like, Bahzell and Brandark were actively avoiding people on their way through the Shipwood, unlike in the novel.
Therefore they didn't run across a certain village where a half-elf lord was evicting some of his tenants.
Bahzell didn't challenge Yithar on his authority as a Champion of a god who never existed here.
So, Yithar's cousin wasn't in the area hunting rogue hradani a couple of days later, and he and his patrol weren't in the right place to take out about two-thirds of Harnak's bodyguards before they found their targets. :P

Relena definitely appreciates Pargan, but he still manages to surprise her sometimes. ;) Methinks Une and Relena will take great joy in following up on this!

Such a great chapter! Poor Brandark :( I would give a more in-depth comment but I stayed awake much later than I should have to finish this and my brain doesn't want to work anymore :) But it was awesome! Can't wait to find out what'll happen next!

Now that my eye has healed enough that I can actually read again, in small amounts... Yay! DoJ!!

Poor Brandark, that is not a story to have to relive in the telling of it, and especially not to the father of the deceased. :C

I maybe might have squeaked a bit at halflings taking down an enraged hradani "unarmed"; they're concentrated badass is what they are.

Fortunately eyes seem to heal fast, I still have some trouble focusing in the morning and I'm not quite up to my tinier knitting projects but at least it doesn't hurt and I can read again. Also, it's not distressingly bloodshot and I can look in the mirror without cringing again. Should be back to 100% by the end of the weekend I think. :)
