I didn't stand up for myself. In the end, I apologized for having a mini-breakdown the night before and he apologized for not taking it better. He is still dead-set against me going back to my old job, but I guess I see (and can agree with some of) his reasoning on it. I guess I just have to keep hoping there's something out there that's right for me on the job front.
