Well, I thought the interview with Geo went rather well, but I didn't get the job. Since then, I wonder if I can even tell how it really went. Which is why today, after the interview, I was so nervous that I am not even sure how it went. I'm scared to death that I'll never get out of here

It was a rather amusing typo. Being someone's pet can't be that bad of a life, as long as your owner is a decent human being.
