Hush Puppies .. most comfortable footwear I have worn

This weekend, we went shopping to Commercial street. Dear biwi insisted that my 2 year old floaters were now unwearable. I still dont see any issue with them, but then ... when biwi says ... you dont argue :)

I explored a lot of footwear shops. Mochi, Woodlands, and more.. but did not find anything great.

Yes Hush Puppies = comfort extreme and now they have
stuff for girls too. :)

Here's some trivia:
Hush puppies in America referred to a ball of cornmeal given
to quiet noisy dogs.
Also Americans used the phrase - "My feet hurt like barking dogs."
Someone made the connection and named his brand of comfort
shoes Hush Puppies. :)

There is an interesting story around how Hush Puppies became so popular all of a sudden in the book The Tipping Point.

I've been putting off shoe shopping for months now, relying only on my faithful floaters. Maybe I'll go this weekend now.

i have never owned a pair but hush puppies' campaign is one of the most discussed in the advertising industry!
