Yes indeed... must be an interesting read. But I feel Amazon's recommendation is more of an exception than a rule. What do you think will sell more - A Sharapova endorsed shampoo or the one on Amazon with best recommendations (assuming that both shampoos are equally good)!
I recollect one of my UK colleagues saying, if you want a team to win the high jump, you find one person who can jump seven feet, not seven people who can jump one foot each.
True .. a group does not do everything better than an expert .. but most things ... Including running a company .. My vision of the most successful management team - is a group of diverse people guided & managed by a great people manager/facilitator (CEO)
