This isn't a commonly shipped pairing, really. I ship a lot of obscure pairings :)
And that was one of my favourite lines too! It seems we have similar tastes. Writing Soojung and Chanshik's differences and gradually pulling them into similarities was my major task here and I'm glad you liked that. ^^

I absolutely adore fics that deal with stage personas versus real-life personas, and I think you handled the topic very well. I also enjoyed the parallelism between both the two selves of both characters and the parallelism between the characters themselves. This was just. Augh. I am memming this so that I can read this over and over again ;~~~;

P.S. What made you decide to write this pairing? It's an unusual pairing (if only because I've never seen this pairing before, haha).

I have a particular fondness for contrasting their real life/stage personas. I've always felt that there is a big difference between somebody's onstage representation of themselves and who they really are.

How did I start shipping them? They were both maknaes of their groups and I also felt that they often misrepresent themselves - in Gongchan's case, maybe all the time. One tumblr edit later, I wrote them XD

Somehow I missed this from your list. I'm such a sucker for fics that focus on offstage/onstage personas, and this one is just as beautiful and delicate as your other gongstal fics. I really love that final two lines.

To the world, they are Gongchan and Krystal.

For each other, they are Chanshik and Soojung.

It made me smile and feel warmed somehow :)

I find that onstage and offstage personas are a very big thing in this fandom. Chansik has said before how he is generally quieter and significantly less spontaneous and cute irl back when he was is school
