I'm so sorry you're stuck, but I really hope you'll get to make the most of your additional time in Berlin anyway (though I hear you about this kind of situation keeping you from enjoying the moment).

:D If I could do more than one it would be amazing, but I don't think I can breeze through these...dammit Berlin museums! I tried to do the Pergamon in a short span of time yesterday and before I knew it three hours had gone by.

Glad you got a return flight, even if it's not as soon as you hoped! Impending financial ruin aside, I hope you can both manage to enjoy your situation as much as possible, it would be a shame otherwise!

I hope you enjoy the extra vacation time you have even if the way you got it is so awful. Waiting is definitely ugh.

The concept of the last few opening hours of a museum being free is pretty genius, though. \o/

UGH. I'm sorry about being stuck. I just hate it when plans are ruined like that. :( I'm glad you at least got a flight (EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE ANOTHER WEEK FOR IT) and that you're milking it for what's it worth. At least you get to do more awesome stuff in Stockholm, right? :) And dude, I wanna hear about this Nefertiti and her posse stuff, sounds awesome :D

Yeah I Berlin is cool enough to have lots of stuff to do for an extra week. You can see Ms. Nefertiti here. You probably have seen her before, she's pretty iconic. I would like to see her, but I just don't know. I'll ponder it. Hope you feel better!

Hmm now that you mention it and I'm looking at the site -- it doesn't seem that they're participants in ghetto night. Bummer. I do think it's possible to make reservations online though for the specific 2hr time slot, so that makes things easier hypothetically if I were to decide to plunk down the euro, which I dunno-- I think Pergamon was worth it, but I'm not so sure about this one.

Unless you don't like Italian or Flemish art, 'cause that's most of the collection.
