Lebaran and Harry Potter goodies

The passing out of rupiah... that's very interesting. Is this something that people do at this time of the year? (sorry if I'm asking a really stupid question.)

my parents usually give Zakat in form of money and/or food and cloths to the mosque or the people responsible for distributing Zakat to the poor/orphans. so yes, we and other muslims do this every year, only this year my sister and I and a couple of friends give the money directly to them.
