I've said it before, I'll say it again.

2007 sucks.

I might actually fucking celebrate New Year's Eve this year and fucking mean it.

So....what's an appropriate gag gift to send to a friend about to recover from surgery? A blow-up doll of Alan Alda in his prime springs to mind, considering the friend, but those are hard to come by.

You never know what you'll find on eBay.

I can't believe I'm about to admit to this, but I looked. :p

Although seeing your icon, that costume of Giles' might rate in a close second. ;)

Haha, that'd be awesome.

I once bought an authentic sombrero for $2 at the Salvation Army. It's amazing.

I don't know what presents go well with removing gall stones, really. Which, given your present idea, means I'm pretty sure we're thinking of the same person. ;D

Yeah, we spent some time chatting last night, and who else do we both know in love with Alan Alda and having surgery very soon?

She said something about you being really bad at feeding the rumor mill. ;)

Granted, I also need a present idea for Katie and Ryan...that one's not really coming to me either.

Haha. I told one person. Then again, if she's counting on me being a rumormonger, she's forgetting who I am.

Katie and Ryan are registered at Target, so I was pathetic and went that way. But I love kitchen gadgetry anyway.

Yeah, she seemed surprised that I didn't already know-I mainly got ahold of her to see if work was still making her crazy, had no clue she was having surgery on Monday. You? Feed a rumor mill? Please. ;) Would my guess be far-off if I assumed that Kerstin was the one person you told? :p

Target, eh? :p I might do the same, or a gift card, or something. I love kitchen gadgetry myself. My boyfriend bought me a ton of it our first year together, so I'm not sure if he was appeasing my cooking ability or sending a subliminal message for me to cook more, dammit(obviously not seriously thinking this) but the Crock Pot, microwave cart, drink mixing set, and new pans are really nice. I digress, and probably bore you.
