One of the most-awaited events in the school calendar is the School festival. Sure before it starts, chaos could be seen everywhere as students try to finish shop stalls of rehearse for their performance but it all pays up as they get to enjoy the big day.
“It’s really fun to be in high school” Yabu stated as he tried to enjoy the festivities around him.
“Sure is! I’m definitely going to miss school festivals when I graduate” Inoo said with a sigh.
Yabu looked at his friend, a real beauty indeed. He’s wearing a light blue Kimono decorated with pink sakuras all over. Not wearing a wig but his hair had a blue flower clipped to it. “You should enjoy your last and make good memories, anyway what’s with the get-up?”
Inoo widened his eyes at his band mate “Don’t start with it!”
Yabu tried to suppress his laugh “What? It looks good on you” Yabu grinned when he saw a nice blue uchiwa. He picked it up, paid for it then handed it to Inoo. “Suits you well!” He said with a wink.
Inoo blushed when Yabu winked and took at uchiwa but whacked Yabu’s arms with it. “We’re doing a geisha café and the girls want the boys to be the geishas while they become the waitresses” Inoo said with a sigh, fanning his uchiwa.
“So basically, you’re all ‘girls’?” Yabu asked as they continued walking along the hallway.
“Yeah”
Yabu giggled “Well that’s something to remember when you graduate.” He turned to his side to look at Inoo, “Just think of it as a fan service. I could hear girls trying to hide their squeals when they see you. Unfortunately they’re miserably failing.” He smiled. “Come on, use your break wisely, you haven’t shown me half of the school yet.” With that, he gave another wink at Inoo.
“Yeah, let’s start at the hunted house then” Inoo said, leading the way.
Yabu looked at Inoo with discontent.
“What?”
“Can you run?” Yabu asked.
“Yabu Kota, do you want to be smacked by something harder that this uchiwa?” Inoo placed his hands at his hips.
Yabu smiled “Okay, okay like you said, to the hunted house”
“Good, now let’s go” Inoo grabbed Yabu’s arms.
‘He looks so cute when he gets all mad’ Yabu thought as he let himself be pulled by the angry geisha.
The hunted house wasn’t that scary but it made them run because of a mob of fan girls that invaded the hunted house. They exited the house laughing as they avoided the rampaging fan girls.
“That was even more fun than I thought” Yabu said in between laughs.
“Yeah, and I told you I can run” Inoo said while trying to catch his breath. “We need to calm down”
“Yeah, and you need to fix your hair” Yabu picked the clip that was dangling behind Inoo’s ear. Instead of handing it to Inoo he’s the one who fixed it on his hair. “Suits you well”
Inoo smile “Now where did I heard that from? Thanks!”
“Aww, that’s cute! I wish that he’s your groom but we already have a groom waiting for you at the booth!” A boy said from their back.
Yabu and Inoo looked at the boy then to each other. After that Inoo looked down to see that he was standing on a yellow star. When he stepped aside to see what was written, his eyes widened in horror.
“Let’s go Geisha! You’re future awaits you” And before Inoo could run, he was already being pulled by the boy. Inoo threw a pleading look at Yabu but Yabu could do nothing but follow. “Rules are rules”
The halted in front of the booth “Wait a minute” Inoo said, trying to get his hands away from the boy. “Before we do anything that I’m sure I’m going to regret, I have to say this: I a boy! And I refuse to ‘marry’ with another guy!”
The boy just looked at him “Uh huh yeah right, whatever now off you go!” With that, he pushed Inoo inside; Yabu and the boy following from behind.
“Ladies and gentlemen we now have the bride!” The boy announced at the microphone and other gathered around the booth.
“Let’s just get done with thi-eh?!” Inoo, who was approaching the ‘altar’ to see who this groom was, was surprised to see yet another familiar face he meets off-campus.
The ‘groom’ who was seated, waiting for the ‘bride’ to get done with it, turned to see who his ‘bride' was. A grin formed on his face when he saw Inoo walking towards.
“Tell me again why I’m going to miss school festivals?” Inoo asked Yabu who was still following him.
Yabu grinned when he saw the groom “Uh, fan- service?”
“And I know pronounce you man and man” The teacher who conducted the ‘wedding’ sounded confused but as they say again and again: Rules are rules!
“Takaki, you may now… err, kiss Inoo”
“In the cheeks” Inoo and Yabu said together.
