It has been a while since I posted something, I have been busy for a couple of month now. I haven't even had a time to fan girl anymore. Few weeks have passed, and Mie was able to see a good result about the antidote they manage to create although it is acting differently on her blood. Comparing it to Ryou’s blood, they were having an argument about the result which is keeping her busy on the said research when they were paged for a meeting.
Mie entered the conference room a bit late than the others while holding her laptop, she settled beside Gen. Sakurai after dropping her laptop she gives a salute and settled “sorry I was late I needed to download some files before going here” Sho was shaking his head while Gen. Garcia smiled then asked, “how was the research?”
Mie looked at her then answered “I have a few test that I needed to run through although I might need Gen. Sakurai and Lieutenant Sakurai’s help on this one” Gen. Garcia nodded, then they started the meeting which is actually about their schedule since it would be Christmas soon they were given 3 days passes for the said holidays but they would have to return after Christmas and report to the new Site then another 3 days passes for new year.
Everyone was excited except for Mie who is too engrossed with her research. When Gen. Sakurai tap her hand, it was the only time Mie stopped reading her research then look up “yes, I am listening I would be getting 6 days total holiday passes and we would be reporting after the first 3 days right?”
Chuck shake his head along with Inohara then Aya commented “gomen minna Mie is just like that when she is focused into something” Gen. Kitagawa get Mie’s attention this time “Major Miyamoto everyone is actually wondering what your plans were?” Mie smiled “Stay with my family I haven’t spent my holidays with them for the past two years so yeah if you want to visit you all know where to find me” then smiled to everyone
Gen. Kitagawa nodded then continue “have you also heard the discussion on where you are going to report in between your passes?” Mie think for a moment then nodded “yeah that would be in the new location, I would be requesting the Jet standby in Tokyo since I would be home, and Nagoya Team would also be leaving from Tokyo”
Gen. Garcia smiled “at least we know she is paying attention” Mie smiled sheepishly and apologize “minna honto ni gomen I am listening it’s just that I don’t want to bring home any work, since Kaa-chan would be scolding at me if I do” Gen. Sakurai nodded and says “it’s fine it can wait till we got the schedule fixed, your participation is important since you are going to be the pilot”
Then Inohara continued “yeah, major no one is in a hurry about that research so just stay focus on our discussion for now” Mie save her file and close her laptop “fine, so what would be the plan” Aya smiled but answered “I would be spending holidays with Kim and Inoue as usual” Mie nodded “ehhh Mao-chi aren't you going home?” Mao smiled “nope kaa-chan and tou-chan will be out of the country” Mie nodded “how I wish I get to spend holidays with you guys again, chotto how are you guys to report if you would be staying in Osaka? “
Ohno answered her this time “they were asking if it is okay if you fly from Tokyo to Osaka to pick them up since we only need to use one aircraft as directed by the three General’s” Mie looked at the Generals who nodded before asking “who among you guys will be in tokyo?” Nino, Jun, Ohno and Sho raised their hands Mie look up at Ken and Aiba
Aiba smiled “not sure yet if I would be in Tokyo or in Osaka since Kaa-chan says she wanted to spend holiday in my ototõ’s place” Mie nodded then face Ken “would be going home to Kanagawa I presume?” Ken smiled, and nodded Mie think for a moment then asked, “Besides Major Masaki who among you can co-pilot the said jet to Osaka with me?” Jun smiled and Volunteered Ohno “Col. Ohno is a pilot too” Mie smiled and face Jun “so as my Col. Inohara but as per protocol lower ranks would be on the pilot pit”
Gen. Garcia laugh along with Gen. Kitagawa who commented “she really took after her father” then Mie look up at Nino and Jun “So, who else can be a co-pilot until I have Major Sato with me? Since Lt. Sakurai is not an option” Jun smiled then says “Alright, Ninomiya can co-pilot until you have Major Sato” Ken also volunteered and says “No worries I would inform you once my Kaa-chan confirm where she would spend Christmas” Mie smiled “I would wait for that call, now call time would be 2-3am then or should it be earlier?”
Sho answered this time “I think earlier since we would be getting the ladies from Osaka then we leave the night before our holidays and would be leaving at midnight to one am the following day in time for us to report” Mie nodded “who would be flying the jet from here?”
Ohno smiled “Ken and Aya then you would take over Aya’s place from Osaka” Kim commented “so Mie-chan better be careful you have a platoon of gorgeous men to deliver in tokyo” Mie just realized it and look at Gen. Sakurai “Gen. Sakurai are you going to travel with us?” Gen. Kitagawa is the one who answered “No we have a different service, but we would wait for you in Tokyo”
Gen. Garcia commented “are you afraid of the boys” Mie smiled “ei, not the slightest” then wink at the girls who laugh “besides 2 Generals are going to monitor our jet not to mention a convoy waiting for me when I arrive in Tokyo right Gen. Sakurai?” who nodded and answered “right you are major a convoy is waiting for you”
Mie rolled her eyes while everyone laugh Ken on the other hand is puzzled on what they were talking about look on Gen. Kitagawa who smiled and says “it is a private joke between the team since Major Miyamoto has a strict father and aniki not to mention she is the youngest on the team” everyone in the room laugh again.
Ken nodded “guess I get to see her father and aniki in Tokyo since they would be picking her up” everyone laughs hard then Aya tried to speak while laughing “Oh you would captain, you just don't have any idea” the meeting concluded Mie tried to fix her things.
Ohno called upon Ken while heading out “Lt. Miyake you would be sharing bedroom with Major Ikuta in the meantime you can transfer your things” Ken nodded and that was the time Mie was able to fix her stuff and walking along with Sho “ehh why is Captain sharing bedroom with Toma-chi?” Inohara answered “as part of his training he gets to live with us too after 2 days I think”
Then Ohno continued “he is supposedly sharing room with Lt. Sakurai but that is impossible” then give Mie a knowing look who nodded then faced Sho “don’t forget I would be calling you later ne” Sho nodded then whispered something to Mie who giggled “wakarimashita, oh I have to go I need to get back to the lab now, later Sho-chan” then give him a kiss and hug while Ken is glaring at Sho who gave him a smug grin while the rest of the team were shaking their heads.
At 9pm Sho and Aiba is still at the common room along with Ken who asked permission to go to bed ahead of them. Sho just wave his hand when his communicator lit up and answered it “your late I thought you would be here after dinner” an answer on the other line when Ken was almost on the foot of the stairs when he heard the door open.
“Domo” Mie was on the door along with a big cooler box Mie smiled “ohh you can call in everyone now” Aiba smiled and grab the cooler while saying “do the honor” Mie smiled and shouted “Minna, I am back” all men got out of their room and welcome Mie with hug Mie can’t help herself but giggled because she can see Ken’s expression.
“hey guys, I think captain is shock and I guess we need to orient him don’t you think?” Ohno nodded while Jun explained “she gets to be team up with us, before her team arrived here so she gets to sneak in on our quarters” Ken nodded then Mie smiled “bought some beer to welcome Ken in your team and I get to sleep here tonight too ne” Sho nodded
Ken was about to ask where she would be staying but because they called him, and everyone start drinking he just note the question. When they were about to go to sleep Mie was already sleepy Masaki smiled “Should I be the one to carry her?” Sho smiled “It’s fine just open the door for us ne” Nino stand up and give Mie kiss goodnight same with Jun, Ohno.
Then Sho carried Mie who argue and says “Sho-chan I can still walk demo I am too sleepy, piggy back” Sho shake his head but otherwise follow. Ken was too drunk to even move his body slept in the sofa.
