2006 Book Poll!

Here are my books for 2006, at least those I could remember.
Yes, I had a baby at the beginning of the year, so there are a lot of childcare books, which I did indeed read from cover-to-cover, so I included them. I also included a number of the books we have for my daughter, although I did not include the board books and such -- just the ones that ( Read more... )

While you were doing this list, I was posting and asking you if you'd read the Kushiel series!

By the way, if you are interested, I have "The Five Books of Moses" by Robert Atler, with COPIOUS footnotes. VERY detailed.

I adore the Kushiel books! I have Kushiel's Scion on my to-be-read list, I just haven't had time to get to it yet.

I really liked the Anita Blake books, through the first...I don't remember how many. But the character sure changed a lot, and the latest ones have just seemed kind of thin on plot and long on sex.

And I'll have to look up that Atler book, that sounds like a good one!

Yes! Another one where I've actualy read some of them! I've skimmed the list though as my wishlist and TBR are already too long and there's some fascinating stuff in there!
