LOLOL. I drive my kids around here and there all the time, and the TSwift song is on, like, every two minutes so I'm absolutely effing sick of it, HOWEVER... there's this part where I go, in unison with her, "like, EVER" and get so much satisfaction in that. :DDD
Man, some of her other songs are super catchy but this one just doesn't hook me and I'm always like noooooo stooooop when it comes on. Not that I claim to have fabulously discerning taste in music since I definitely like the catchy pop stuff, but something about this song...
oh there are pros and cons. There is a lot of guilt actually in whether or not I'm doing a good enough job as an older sibling especially with how many years are between us... Half the time I feel like a third parent. But then there are the hilarious incidents, like getting him into kpop and him filming himself dancing to Sorry Sorry and Lucifer lmao.
Also I accidentally got him into politics, oops. (Or as much as a high schooler is into politics, I guess? Apparently a bunch of kids at his boarding school watched the presidential debate in the lounge, which I was kind of surprised by.)
I just had to google them because I had no idea what you were talking about but WHOA. Boy bands aside from 1D in this decade? After the boy band craze of the 90s? I'm shocked. They're British-Irish too, huh. How are their songs?
I /we are kind of addicted to Glad You Came. It is rare to hear someone's accent when they sing these days and they don't hide it at all. The other songs are in the same vein. Catchy, pretty, fairly similar but still fun. My kid likes War Zone I haven't heard it yet.But so far Glad You Came is the best.
