WHY IS HE THE ONE PLAYER WITH A FACE MASK, I ASK YOU. Yeah, that name is familiar to me and I remember him being talked about during playoffs. I'm determined to go to Hawks/Caps on Jan 5 but that's not going to help me love the Caps. I think they play my second-tier favorite teams (Panthers, Canes) too much for me to get fond (plus the Flyers, of course).

Are you happy about the Semin move? And second question, have you heard what happens with our Philly/Hawks tickets if there's no game?
I can't believe there's such sucky NCAA hockey in our region. >:(

I am pretty happy about the Semin move, I think. I'd be happier if we had a full season for the new Canes lines to get comfortable under Muller and maybe do some offensive damage. I'm also hoping with more big-name forwards like the Staals and Semin, there will be less pressure/attention on Skinner and he can develop his game without being targeted, which leads to...tantrums and stupid penalties. Let him make his goal-scoring chances! Hopefully be able to rack up points like he did his rookie year.

I called the ticket sales people when I bought the tickets actually, haha. They said if there's no game, we get refunded. If the game is rescheduled, our tickets are valid for the rescheduled game. Considering the nigh-inevitable lockout, we're probably looking at a refund. Bah. Since I already took off work, I might just go up to Philly to wander/eat cheesesteaks/complain about the lack of hockey.
