Oh Twilight. Oh Mei ::pats your head even though you're older and taller than me (and you're totally smug about the latter fact)::
Actually, I read part of the Twilight series before it got trendy (because I was going through a "read all the young adult books" phase at the time). I remember going "meh" after lots of page skimming, giggling at sparkling vampires, but I didn't think much of it until half a year later everyone was going crazy over it. I just remember being confused at the fact that it became so big. I've read worse, and I've certainly read better, so I never developed strong feelings.
Thinking of LOLARIOUSLY GLORIOUS movies, have you ever seen "The Room"? It's bad in every way possible. I will laugh over it forever.
!!! I would be a happy kitty (or anything really) if a chipmunk would attack me with love.
Upon closer look, I think it's a squirrel. hahah OOPS. I WAS TOO EXCITED IN MY LOVE TO REALIZE WHAT KIND OF RODENT I WAS.
I get how something like Twilight is written, honestly. A lot of books out there are a form of wish fulfillment. I guess it just bewilders me how it, over all other things, got so huge.
My grandpa feeds the squirrels in the backyard. Now if I ever leave through the backdoor I have to bring crackers with me. Or else I face the travesty of a squirrel coming right up to my feet with a hopeful face, and myself having nothing to offer.
I get how it was written as well, which is why I wasn't all "this is the worse book ever" when I read it, I was just baffled it got so popular.
Lol, today was hilarious because apparently the mall in Toronto no longer has photos with santa but with the Old Spice guy instead.
