I'm sort of happy that Wonderfalls was cancelled because it prevented them from doing the ghastly pregnancy storyline they had in mind for S2.

Yeah, that pregnancy storyline was a bit WTF -- a whole "virgin birth" kind of thing. I would have been interested to see how they would pull it off (although they could solve the mystery for themselves in about 2 seconds if the sister's girlfriend mentioned that she had been with her ex right before the fateful encounter).
