Oh, that's hard. I'm sorry to hear it. I don't drive either, and I worry about that, so I empathize.

There is always a trade-off. I married a control freak, who doesn't ever want anyone else to drive, and tells me that I can't possibly do it. I am a control freak, too, in other ways. I was thinking that our poor kids must have had a hard time, but, I think they really had to assert themselves, which has probably stood them well as adults. They might lack confidence sometimes, but have to be really sure of themselves when they express things.

Driving is a problem. I can't even take the bus - my oxygen doesn't last long enough to account for the extra time.

I got the eye surgery I needed, and portable oxygen got much smaller, due to new technology. (It does puffs instead of a steady stream, so a smaller amount will last longer.)

I like your posts; I stumbled across them by searching on chi (I think). There is so much we don't understand. I like your thoughts on the whole puzzle. I ordered the Miller book on psychic massage from amazon.com. I know that energy is key and that thoughts and intention create all sorts of odd things. I'm sorry to read of your battles with the some of the nagging miseries of life.
