My sealed transcript arrived in the mail today and my FAFSA results showed up in my inbox.

"Based on your EFC [which I assume is Expected Financial Contribution] of 00000, you appear to be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant of up to $5350 for the 2009-2010 school year.

*dances*

EFC is Expected Family Contribution. If you are a 18-21 years (or so)old they look at how much your parents make and then decied that they shoud contribut $x.xx to your education.
