Sam says hi. He's mostly staying under the bed - only tried upstairs for a few minutes today. He comes out to eat and get petted, then WHOOSH back to safety. Toby is much more adventuresome. Larry let him into the back yard once he closed off the two possible escape routes. Toby was highly suspicious of us PUTTING him out and closing the door behind him.

Cable is here and Larry is SO happy to have television after over a year without. There's cable in the guest room, too. (hint)

I feel your pain, meg, just got back from my parents, dialup with 56K, which is essentially no internet, it just teases you with the promise of email. The offspring, on the other hand, got ski lessons, tobogganing and snowperson-making, so they didn't care.
