If you ever have any questions about literary agents, I can answer some. I have one who submits my graphic novel work, so if you were to find an agent for this book, you might consider finding one that represents comics too. (I keep a list up-to-date here). It's really not that hard a process, you just have to be prepared to get rejection letters.

And about your idea of a novel with illustrations, a writer friend of mine queried agents with just that, and was successful. She was interviewed and talks about how she did it, if you're interested.

I have no advice to offer, but I would really love to see a First Kingdoms book! I was always sad that it wasn't updating any more. It's a really engaging story and I think a book would be a good format for it.

I would definitely love a serialized form of First Kingdoms that I could then buy in a book. Self-publishing is something that's really achievable, and it might be possible for you to submit the manuscript even if you do self-publish First Kingdoms.
