is it still based on the awful book 'Phantom of Manhatten' by Frederick Forsyth? *sigh* I wish he'd left it alone, I had hoped after all the years of nothing it wouldn't be going anywhere.

It is and I'm afraid to read the thing. Now, I know there are all sorts of POTO pastiches out there, but, come on! It just seems wrong to make a sequel to such an amazing musical. I adore the musical, personally. GAH. *tears out hair*
