Movie Review: Dead Man (Johnny Depp 1995)

I found this movie by chance, in a bargain bin when I was shopping a week or so back, and bought it because 1. I had never heard of it, and 2. I am compiling a collection of every movie Johnny Depp has ever starred in.

I think it is probably a very good film. I tried hard to like it more than I do, simply for the sake of Johnny Depp and Gary Farmer, but it did step on some squicks for me.

It was nominated for, and won several awards, so obviously, others liked it a lot. :)

I understand how you feel about the squicks. I have a few, myself, and sometimes, I have to look away during movies. I like Johnny Depp and Gary Farmer, too! :)

How is your writers' block? I've been having a tiny bit of that, myself, this morning. Partly because I've got such monster allergies, and partly because I've got grandkids underfoot. LOL!

I have been trying to self-medicate the writer's block with excessive blogging, and I think it shows lol!

I've got my daughter coming up to stay for a couple of days, so I won't be able to write as much and that's always a sure fire way to bring the muse howling for attention.

Here's hoping, anyway.

May you be kissed by the muse too!
